One year of dive- and mentoring scholarships for local students

We started just a year ago with giving scholarships to students from Banda's fisheries college Hatta-Syahrir. These four gentlemen - Uci, Afrizal, Emil and Al - learned diving from SSI Open Water Diver till Advance Adventurer and Stress & Rescue within the past year. A huge thanks to Bluemotion Banda for making this possible! We also trained and certified the four as Reefcheck Ecodivers, which means that they are now able to independently conduct coral reef surveys. We have decided to give this chance to four students every year. The four next ones have already ben selected and will start their dive training this month. Uci, Afrizal, Emil and Al will further be supported by us during their Bachelor theses. First to start is Uci and you will soon learn about his interesting project in our next blog.
