The students have all arrived safely in Germany and reviewed their trip. Here are a few impressions of them for you:

I really enjoyed the whole excursion

Thanks to Mareike's organization and/or instructions on how to organize something. I felt very safe about tackling the trip on my own.

Of course, the daily diving and the tight schedule with theory also made the days exhausting. But you could have guessed that in advance.

So a good trip through and through with many experiences that you will keep for the rest of your life ☺️

Welcome to paradise.

The headline of this travel report must be something like this, because the Banda Islands are fantastically beautiful - above and below water. This was my third time there and probably not the last.

During the night dives I was able to discover many fluorescent sea creatures and also the numerous dives during the day gave us beautiful, intact reefs and a few other surprises such as the sighting of hammerhead sharks, black tip reef sharks, sea turtles, two stamped bumphead parrot fish and much more.

The tour group and the local people can also be seen as a complete success. With a lot of jokes, humor and the necessary seriousness, the weeks flew by.

The food (made by Bobby) was, as always, an inner flower picking.

The arrival and departure alone is a bit tedious and takes a long time.

Nevertheless, the islands are worth a trip.

The memory, experiences and adventures remain forever.

I'm super happy to have made this trip, like snorkeling with the dolphins, seeing sharks or school toads while diving, I will never forget in my life 🙈 the locals were very open hearted. And even if the some locals didn't had much money or stuff like that - they had an incredible lust for life 😊

The time with the group was also really nice, we definitely had enough to laugh.

It was a super great experience to see the beautiful and well-preserved coral reefs and to analyze them for the surveys. It's just a completely different world under water where you completely sink!
