German students passed successfully

We are proud to announce that all students at the Ruhr University Bochum have passed the Eco Diver license. The Reefcheck EcoDiver program contributes valuable data to establish the status of coral reefs. This qualifies the students to help monitoring reefs in the Indo-Pacific.

A number of dives have been conducted over the past few days, allowing participants to use their identification skills and contribute to the Reefcheck Indonesia database. This data can be used by environment managers and the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Science and Fisheries to track and protect coral populations.
